DESCRIPTION

· The PAM8904 is a piezo sounder driver with an integrated charge pump boost converter.

· It can drive a ceramic/piezo sounder with 24VPP from a 5.5V power supply.

· The charge pump operates in 1x, 2x, or 3x mode.

· The boost converter operates at a fixed frequency of 1.0MHz and provides a 12V output with minimal external components.

· It can drive up to 15nF loading and includes built-in automatic shutdown and wake-up for longer battery life.

· Features thermal shutdown, over current protection, over voltage protection, and under voltage lock-out.

· Available in 16-pin U-QFN3030-16 (Type B), 12-pin U-QFN3030-12 (Type A), or 12-pin U-QFN2020-12 (Type UX) packages.
