DESCRIPTION
· The PCA24S08A is a 8192-bit serial EEPROM organized as 1024 words of 8 bits each.
· It communicates via the I2C-bus and supports access permissions to protect memory blocks.
· The device is pin-compatible with standard 24C08 EEPROMs, except for pins 1, 2, and 3.
· Memory is divided into 8 blocks of 1 kbit, each containing 8 pages of 128 bits.
· Additional pages store access protection and ID information, totaling 8448 bits of EEPROM.
· Writes can range from 1 to 16 bytes, with a write endurance of 100,000 cycles and 10-year data retention.
