DESCRIPTION
· The PCA24S08A is a 8192-bit serial EEPROM organized as 1024 words of 8 bits each.
· Data transfer is facilitated via the I2C-bus, with access permissions to secure memory blocks.
· It is pin compatible with standard 24C08 EEPROMs, except for pins 1, 2, and 3 which serve as address pins.
· Memory is divided into 8 blocks of 1 kbit each, with additional pages for access protection and ID storage.
· The device supports up to 100,000 write cycles per byte and ensures data retention for 10 years.
