DESCRIPTION
· The PCA9614 is a Fast-mode Plus (Fm+) SMBus/I2C-bus buffer designed for noisy environments.
· It uses a differential SMBus/I2C-bus (dI2C) physical layer, transparent to the SMBus/I2C-bus protocol.
· Features two single-ended to differential driver channels for SCL and SDA.
· Extends bus length and operates at up to 1 MHz clock rate.
· Compatible with Standard, Fast-mode, and Fast-mode Plus devices.
· Prevents bus latch-up with static level offset on the I2C-bus side.
· Bridges 2-wire single-ended SMBus/I2C-bus to 4-wire dI2C-bus.
· Operates with two supply voltages: VDD(A) (2.3 V to 5.5 V) and VDD(B) (3.0 V to 5.5 V).
