DESCRIPTION

· The PCA9691 is a single-chip, low-power, 8-bit CMOS data acquisition device with four analog inputs, one analog output, and an I2C-bus interface.

· It supports up to 64 devices on the I2C-bus using three address pins (A0, A1, A2).

· Functions include analog input multiplexing, on-chip sample and hold, 8-bit A/D and D/A conversion.

· The maximum conversion rate is determined by the I2C-bus frequency.
