DESCRIPTION
· The PCF2123 is a low-power CMOS Real-Time Clock (RTC) and calendar designed for efficient timekeeping. · It supports data transfer via SPI-bus at up to 6.25 Mbit/s. · Features include an alarm, timer function, and an offset register for clock fine-tuning.
FEATURES
· Provides accurate timekeeping from seconds to years using a 32.768 kHz quartz crystal. · Operates with a low backup current of typically 100 nA at 2.0 V. · Includes watchdog functionality, programmable timer, and alarm with interrupt capability. · Supports a wide operating voltage from 1.1 V to 5.5 V. · Features a 3-line SPI-bus with separate data input and output. · Integrated oscillator load capacitors and internal Power-On Reset (POR). · Open-drain interrupt and clock output pins with a programmable offset register for frequency adjustment.
