DESCRIPTION

· The PCF2127AT1 is a CMOS Real Time Clock (RTC) and calendar with an integrated Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) and a 32.768 kHz quartz crystal, optimized for high accuracy and low power consumption.

· It features 512 bytes of general-purpose static RAM, selectable I2C-bus or SPI-bus, backup battery switch-over circuit, programmable watchdog function, timestamp function, and more.



FEATURES

· Integrated TCXO with capacitors, offering typical accuracy of ±3 ppm from -15°C to +60°C.

· Provides comprehensive time and date information including leap year correction.

· Includes 512 bytes of static RAM, timestamp function with interrupt capability, and event detection on a multilevel input pin.

· Supports 400 kHz Fast-mode I2C-bus and 3-line SPI-bus with a maximum speed of 6.5 Mbit/s.

· Features battery backup input, battery low detection, power fail detection, and oscillator stop detection.

· Offers programmable functions including interrupts, countdown timer, watchdog timer, alarm, and square wave output.
