DESCRIPTION

· The PCF8885 is an 8-channel capacitive touch and proximity sensor IC utilizing the patented EDISEN method for detecting capacitance changes on remote sensing plates.
· It features continuous auto-calibration for static capacitance changes and supports remote sensing plate connections via coaxial cable.
· The IC operates eight independent input channels with a built-in matrix arrangement option for interrupt generation and output suppression.
