DESCRIPTION

· The PCM1822 is a high-performance, stereo-channel, 32-bit, 192-kHz Burr-Brown™ audio ADC.

· It supports simultaneous sampling of two analog channels with single-ended and differential inputs.

· Integrated features include a PLL, DC removal HPF, and supports TDM or I2S audio formats.

· Operates on a single 3.3 V supply, suitable for cost-sensitive, space-constrained audio systems.

· Available in a 20-pin WQFN package, operating from -40°C to +125°C.

· Stereo high-performance ADC with 2-channel analog microphones or line-in.

· Dynamic range of 117 dB with enhancer enabled, 111 dB disabled; THD+N at -95 dB.

· Sample rate from 8 kHz to 192 kHz with 1-VRMS full-scale input.

· Hardware pin control, linear-phase or low-latency filter selection.

· Flexible audio serial data interface supporting master/slave, 32-bit TDM, and I2S.

· Automatic power-down on loss of audio clocks, integrated high-performance PLL.

· Power consumption: 19.6 mW/channel at 16 kHz, 21.3 mW/channel at 48 kHz.
