Overview

DESCRIPTION



· The PI74ALVTC16374 is a 16-bit D-type flip-flop with 3-state outputs, ideal for buffer registers, I/O ports, bidirectional bus drivers, and working registers.

· It can function as two 8-bit flip-flops or one 16-bit flip-flop, with outputs taking on the logic levels of the data inputs on the positive clock transition.

· The Output Enable (OE) input controls the output state, allowing for normal logic or high-impedance states, ensuring bus lines are not significantly loaded or driven.

· The device supports mixed 1.8/3.6V systems with I/O Tolerant and Bus Hold features, retaining the last data input state to prevent floating inputs and eliminate the need for pullup/down resistors.

· Designed for low voltage operation (V DD = 1.8V to 3.6V) with 3.6V I/O Tolerant inputs and outputs.

· Supports Live Insertion and features Bus Hold functionality.

· High drive capability: –32/64mA @ 3.3V, with patented Noise Reduction Circuitry.

· Ensures high impedance inputs and outputs during power-off, suitable for industrial operation from –40°C to +85°C.

· Available in Pb-free & Green packaging: 48-pin 240 mil wide plastic TSSOP.
