DESCRIPTION



· The PI74LCX16244 is a 16-bit buffer/line driver designed for driving memory loads.

· It features balanced-drive characteristics, high-speed operation, and low power consumption.

· The device minimizes ground bounce, matches transmission line signals, reduces line reflections, and lowers EMI and RFI effects.

· It is ideal for driving on-board buses and transmission lines.

· The device operates in Quad-Nibble, Dual-Byte, or single 16-bit word modes with three-state controls.

· It can be driven by 3.3V or 5.0V devices, making it suitable for mixed 3.3V/5.0V systems.

· Functionally compatible with FCT3, LVT, and 74 series 16244 families.

· 3-State outputs for flexible control.

· 5V tolerant inputs and outputs for versatile interfacing.

· Operates with a VDD supply range of 2.0V to 3.6V.

· Balanced sink and source output drives of 24mA.

· Low ground bounce outputs for improved signal integrity.

· Power Down High Impedance inputs and outputs for energy efficiency.

· Supports live insertion for hot-swapping applications.

· ESD Protection exceeds 2000V (Human Body Model) and 200V (Machine Model).

· Available in Pb-free & Green packaging options: 48-pin 300-mil wide plastic SSOP (V) and 48-pin 240-mil wide plastic TSSOP (A).
