· The PT8A977B and PT8A978B/978BL provide complete control functions for remote-controlled toys.

· PT8A977B encodes signals from five function buttons (forward, backward, rightward, leftward, turbo) and outputs digital codes via SO and SC pins.

· PT8A978B/978BL decodes received signals, amplifies them, and controls five corresponding actions.

· Both chips feature internal oscillators adjustable with an external resistor, with a frequency error tolerance of less than ±25%.

· PT8A977B includes auto-power-off and wake-up functions, with a PC output pin for external power control.
