DESCRIPTION

· The TPSI3100-Q1 is a fully integrated isolated switch driver, forming a complete isolated solid state relay solution with an external power switch.
· It features a 17V gate drive with 1.5A and 2.5A peak source and sink current, suitable for various power switches.
· The device generates its own secondary bias supply, eliminating the need for an isolated secondary supply.
· It provides a nominal 5V rail (VDDM) for auxiliary circuits, supporting functions like current and voltage monitoring.
· The TPSI3100-Q1 offers robust isolation with higher reliability, lower power consumption, and extended temperature ranges compared to traditional mechanical relays and optocouplers.
· It includes a communication back-channel for status information transfer via open-drain outputs (PGOOD, FLT1, ALM1).
· Dual high-speed comparators with an integrated shared voltage reference are used for fault and alarm indications.
