DESCRIPTION

· The SC16C751B is a Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter (UART) designed for serial data communications.

· It converts parallel data into serial data and vice versa, supporting data rates up to 5 Mbit/s.

· Functionally equivalent to the SC16C750B, it requires a specific software initialization sequence for operation.

· Features include 64-byte receive and transmit FIFOs, automatic hardware flow control, and selectable auto-flow control.

· It operates at 5 V, 3.3 V, and 2.5 V, suitable for industrial temperature ranges, and is available in the HVQFN24 package.
