DESCRIPTION

· The SC16C751B is a Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter (UART) designed for serial data communications, converting parallel data to serial and vice versa.

· It supports serial data rates up to 5 Mbit/s and is functionally equivalent to the SC16C750B, requiring a specific software initialization sequence for operation.

· Features include 64-byte receive and transmit FIFOs, automatic hardware flow control, and on-board status registers for error indications and operational status.

· It operates at 5 V, 3.3 V, and 2.5 V, within an industrial temperature range, and is available in the HVQFN24 package.
