DESCRIPTION
· The SC16C850 is a low-power, single-channel UART operating at 2.5V to 3.3V, designed for serial data communications.
· It converts parallel data to serial and vice versa, supporting data rates up to 5 Mbit/s.
· Features include 128-byte FIFOs, modem control interface, IrDA encoder/decoder, and on-board diagnostics.
