DESCRIPTION

· The SC804 is a fully integrated single-cell Lithium-Ion battery charger with CC/CV functionality.

· It features an integrated timer and charge control algorithm for stand-alone applications.

· Programmable pre-charge, fast-charge, and termination current settings are included.

· Charging can be terminated based on output current or timer expiration.

· Fast charge current is set via an external resistor or analog voltage at the AFC pin.

· Supports a 14V input range, eliminating the need for additional protection circuitry.

· Includes under-voltage lockout, reference ground, and battery sense inputs.

· Output voltage accuracy is within 1% of the programmed value.

· Can also function as a general-purpose current source or for NiCd/NiMH batteries.
