DESCRIPTION

· The Si8920 is a galvanically isolated analog amplifier designed for current shunt measurement.
· It features a low-voltage differential input ideal for measuring voltage across a current shunt resistor or isolating sensors from control systems.
· The output is a differential analog signal with amplification options of 8.1x or 16.2x.
· It offers very low signal delay, ensuring quick response to fault conditions or load changes.
· The device maintains accuracy over the entire operating temperature range due to low offset and gain drift.
· It provides exceptionally high common-mode transient immunity, making it suitable for high-power switching environments like motor drive systems and inverters.
