Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The SNx4HC4040 devices are 12-stage asynchronous binary counters with all stage outputs externally available.
· A high level at the CLR input asynchronously clears the counter and resets all outputs low.
· The count advances on a high-to-low transition at the CLK input.

· Wide operating voltage range: 2 V to 6 V.
· Outputs can drive up to 10 LSTTL loads.
· Low power consumption: 80 µA max ICC.
· Typical propagation delay: 12 ns.
· ±4 mA output drive at 5 V.
· Low input current: 1 µA max.
