DESCRIPTION



· The STA333SML is a high-power, single-chip FFX solution for all-digital amplification, integrating digital audio processing, digital amplifier control, and an FFX power output stage.

· It features four independent half-bridge stages, capable of delivering up to 10 W + 10 W of power through two full bridges.

· The device includes advanced modes for AM radio interference reduction and supports the I²S serial audio data input format.

· Part of the Sound Terminal® family, it offers cost-effective, low-power digital audio streaming with sound enrichment.



FEATURES



· Wide-range supply voltage: 4.5 V - 18 V.

· 2 channels of ternary PWM (stereo mode) and 24-bit FFXTM processing.

· High SNR and dynamic range: 100 dB, with digital gain up to +24dB.

· Sample rates from 32 to 48 kHz, with a fixed MCLK at 256 x fs.

· Automatic zero-detect and invalid input detect mute functions.

· Short-circuit detection at startup for Out-VCC, Out-Gnd, and Out 1b-Out 2a.

· 2-channel I²S input data interface with a 2 Hz DC cut filter.

· Internal processing sample rate of 96 kHz with 24-bit precision.

· Embedded thermal-overload and short-circuit protection.
