DESCRIPTION

· The SX8652 is a low-power, high-reliability controller for 4-wire and 5-wire resistive touchscreens, suitable for PDAs, portable instruments, and point-of-sales terminals.
· It operates with a wide input supply range from 1.65V to 3.7V and includes low power modes to conserve energy during unintentional screen touches.
· Features a 12-bit analog-digital converter for precise X-Y coordinates and touch pressure measurement, with on-chip data averaging to reduce host activity and system noise.
· Offers robust on-chip ESD protection up to ±15kV, eliminating the need for external protection devices.
· Controlled via a high-speed SPI™ serial interface and available in compact 14-DFN and WLCSP packages.
