DESCRIPTION

· The TC74VHC393 is a high-speed CMOS 4-bit binary counter fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It contains two independent counter circuits in one package, enabling eight binary bits counting or frequency division.

· State changes occur on the negative-going transition of the CLOCK pulse.

· The counter can be reset to "0" (QA to QD = "L") by a high at the CLEAR input.

· An input protection circuit allows 0 to 5.5 V to be applied to the input pins regardless of the supply voltage.

· Suitable for interfacing 5 V to 3 V systems and two supply systems like battery backup.
