DESCRIPTION

· The TDE0160 is a proximity detector designed to identify metal bodies through the impact of Eddy currents on the high-frequency losses of a coil.

· It features two complementary open collector outputs with peak limiting capabilities.

· The device includes adjustable hysteresis and an integrated electronic switching circuit to disable both outputs.

· An internal zener diode ensures stable supply voltage during "dipole" operation.

FEATURES

· Operates with a supply voltage range from +4V to +36V.

· Consumes less than 1.2mA of supply current.

· Supports loss resistance between 5kΩ and 50kΩ.

· Oscillator frequency is maintained below 1MHz.

· Output transistors can handle up to 20mA with a VCE(sat) of ≤1.1V.
