DESCRIPTION
· NXP TDF853x series: Ultra-efficient Class-D amplifiers for automotive audio systems.
· Supports 5.5 V stop-start requirements, ideal for active noise-cancellation and sound systems.
· Generates ambient and engine sounds in electric vehicles.
· Output power varies with supply voltage, supports up to 18, 25, or 45 V.
· Models include TDF8531 (3 channels), TDF8532 (4 channels), TDF8534 (5 channels), TDF8536 (4 channels at 45 V).
FEATURES
· Three to five Class-D BTL channels for 2 or 4 Ω loads, with two channels combinable for 1 Ω.
· Digital input in TDM/I²S format for easy board layout.
· Line-driver mode for external amplifier connection via loudspeaker cable.
· AEC-Q100 compliant, with diagnostics for AC/DC loads, supply voltage feedback, clip detection, and DC output offset.
· Protection features: independent output current, load dump (50 V), over/undervoltage, thermal fold-back, and thermal protection.
· Optional interleaved power stages for improved EMC and reduced output-filter cost/complexity.
