DESCRIPTION

· The TLE4971 is a high-precision miniature coreless magnetic current sensor designed for AC and DC measurements, featuring an analog interface and two fast over-current detection outputs.

· It utilizes Infineon's robust monolithic Hall technology for accurate and linear current measurement up to ±120A.

· The sensor includes internal self-diagnostic features and is fully calibrated, eliminating the need for end-of-line calibration.

· It is equipped with an embedded EEPROM for storing user-programmable parameters and features Lead Tip Inspection (LTI) for easy solder quality checks.

FEATURES

· Integrated current rail with 220 µΩ insertion resistance for ultra-low power loss.

· Less than 1nH parasitic inductance and an 8x8mm form factor.

· High accuracy and scalability for DC & AC current sensing with a 210kHz bandwidth.

· Very low sensitivity error over temperature and galvanic functional isolation up to 1150V peak V IORM.

· Documentation according to ISO26262 is available.

APPLICATIONS

· Onboard Chargers and various types of Drives.

· Suitable for operation in harsh environments due to great stray field suppression.

· The sensor is shipped in a PG-TISON-8-6 package.
