DESCRIPTION

· The TPB4056B is a cost-effective, high-integration linear charger for single cell Li-ion or Li-ion polymer batteries.

· It supports CC/CV charge from either a USB port or an AC adapter.

· Low BOM component requirement ensures a compact system size.

· High input voltage range with over-voltage protection supports low-cost unregulated adapters.

· Charge current is programmable up to 1000 mA with an external resistor.

· Automatically terminates the charge cycle when the charge current drops below 10% of the set value after reaching the float voltage.

· Features two indication pins, CHRG and STDBY, for device status display.

· Includes thermal foldback, current monitor, UVLO, and OVP functions for device protection.
