DESCRIPTION

· The TPS770 is a low-dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator with an input voltage range of 2.5V to 16V (new chip) and up to 100mA load current.

· It supports an output range of 1.2V to 5.0V (fixed) or 1.2V to 5.5V (adjustable) for the new chip.

· The device is suitable for generating bias voltage in applications such as powering microcontrollers (MCUs) and processors.

· It features wide bandwidth PSRR performance, exceeding 70dB at 1kHz and 46dB at 1MHz (new chip).

· The new chip includes an internal soft-start circuit to reduce inrush current during start-up, enabling smaller input capacitance.
