Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The TPS7A49 series are positive, high-voltage (36 V), ultralow-noise linear regulators capable of sourcing a 150-mA load.

· These regulators feature a CMOS logic-level-compatible enable pin and a capacitor-programmable soft-start function for customized power management.

· Built-in current limit and thermal shutdown protection safeguard the device and system during fault conditions.

· Designed using bipolar technology, they are ideal for high-accuracy, high-precision instrumentation applications.

· Suitable for post DC-DC converter regulation, they filter out output voltage ripple inherent to DC-DC switching conversion.



FEATURES

· Input Voltage Range: 3V to 36V.

· Noise: 12.7μVRMS (20Hz to 20kHz), 15.4μVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz).

· Power-Supply Ripple Rejection: 72dB (120 Hz), ≥52dB (10Hz to 400kHz).

· Adjustable Output: 1.194 V to 33V.

· Output Current: 150mA.

· Dropout Voltage: 260mV at 100mA.

· Stable with Ceramic Capacitors ≥2.2μF.

· Packages: 8-Pin HVSSOP PowerPAD™ and 3-mm × 3-mm VSON.

· Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to 125°C.
