DESCRIPTION

· The UC3717A is an enhanced version of the UC3717, designed to switch drive current in one winding of a bipolar stepper motor.
· It features higher winding current, more reliable thermal protection, and improved efficiency with integrated bootstrap circuitry.
· The device includes an LS-TTL compatible logic input, current sensor, monostable, thermal shutdown network, and H-bridge output stage.
· Two UC3717A units with external components can form a complete control and drive unit for LS-TTL or microprocessor-controlled stepper motor systems.
· Operational temperature range is from 0°C to +70°C.
