DESCRIPTION

· The UDK, UDN, and UDQ2559B, EB, and LB quad power drivers feature enhanced output current limiting, combining AND logic gates with high-current bipolar outputs and full output protection.

· Each of the four outputs can sink 700 mA in the on state, with a minimum breakdown voltage of 60 V and a sustaining voltage of 40 V.

· Inputs are compatible with TTL and 5 V CMOS logic systems, and each channel includes overcurrent protection activated at approximately 1 A.

· These devices can drive various loads, including incandescent lamps and inductive loads like relays, solenoids, or DC stepping motors, without requiring warming or limiting resistors.

· Available in three packages: 16-pin power DIP with exposed tabs (B package), 28-lead power PLCC (EB package), and 16-lead power wide-body SOIC for surface-mount applications (LB package).
