Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The UDK, UDN, and UDQ2559B, EB, and LB quad power drivers feature improved output current limiting, combining AND logic gates with high-current bipolar outputs and complete output protection.

· Each of the four outputs can sink 700 mA in the on state, with a minimum breakdown voltage of 60 V and a sustaining voltage of 40 V.

· Inputs are compatible with TTL and 5 V CMOS logic systems, with overcurrent protection activated at approximately 1 A, protecting outputs from short circuits up to 25 V.

· Thermal-limiting circuits reduce output current in response to over-current or short-circuit conditions, tolerating worst-case short circuits on all outputs simultaneously.

· Available in 16-pin power DIP (B package), 28-lead power PLCC (EB package), and 16-lead power wide-body SOIC (LB package) with fused leads for enhanced thermal dissipation.
