DESCRIPTION

· The UM3122EEQA is a dual RS-232 transceiver supporting 1.65V to 5V I/O with split supply pins for mixed-voltage operation.

· It features ESD protection up to ±15kV (Air-Gap Discharge), ±8kV (Contact Discharge), and ±8kV (Human-Body Model).

· Operates with a 1.8V supply using five 0.1μF capacitors, achieving data rates up to 1000 kbps.

· Includes a VL pin for mixed-logic voltage systems, eliminating the need for additional level shifters.

· Auto Powerdown Plus feature reduces power consumption in idle states, ideal for battery-powered applications.
