DESCRIPTION

· The 74LVC2244A is an 8-bit buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs, configurable as two 4-bit or one 8-bit buffer.

· Features two output enables (1OE and 2OE) controlling four outputs each, with a HIGH on nOE causing high-impedance OFF-state.

· Supports inputs from 3.3 V or 5 V devices, enabling use as translators in mixed voltage environments.

· Schmitt-trigger action at all inputs ensures tolerance to slower input rise and fall times.

· Fully specified for partial power-down applications using IOFF to prevent backflow current.
