Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The 74LVC244A and 74LVCH244A are 8-bit buffer/line drivers with 3-state outputs, configurable as two 4-bit or one 8-bit buffer.

· Features two output enables (1OE and 2OE) controlling four outputs each; a HIGH on nOE sets outputs to high-impedance OFF-state.

· Inputs compatible with 3.3 V or 5 V devices, suitable for mixed voltage environments.

· Schmitt-trigger inputs ensure tolerance to slow input transitions.

· Fully specified for partial power-down applications using IOFF to prevent backflow current.



FEATURES

· Wide supply voltage range: 1.2 V to 3.6 V.

· Low-power CMOS technology.

· Direct interface with TTL levels.

· Overvoltage tolerant inputs up to 5.5 V.

· IOFF circuitry enables partial power-down mode.

· Bus hold on all data inputs (74LVCH244A only).

· Complies with JEDEC standards: JESD8-7A, JESD8-5A, JESD8-C/JESD36.

· ESD protection: HBM exceeds 2000 V, CDM exceeds 1000 V.

· Operating temperature range: -40 °C to +125 °C.
