DESCRIPTION

· The 74LVC244A and 74LVCH244A are 8-bit buffer/line drivers with 3-state outputs.

· They can function as two 4-bit buffers or one 8-bit buffer.

· Each device has two output enables (1OE and 2OE) controlling four 3-state outputs each.

· A HIGH on nOE sets outputs to a high-impedance OFF-state.

· Inputs are compatible with both 3.3 V and 5 V devices, making them suitable for mixed voltage environments.

· Schmitt-trigger action on all inputs ensures tolerance to slower input rise and fall times.

· Fully specified for partial power-down applications using I OFF, preventing backflow current during power-down.
