DESCRIPTION

· The 74LVT574 and 74LVTH574 are high-performance, 3.3 V octal D-type flip-flops with 3-state outputs.
· They feature an 8-bit, edge-triggered register and eight 3-state output buffers, controlled independently by clock (CP) and output enable (OE) pins.
· Designed for driving heavily loaded 3-state buses, MOS memories, or MOS microprocessors, with outputs that enter a high-impedance state when OE is HIGH.



FEATURES

· Easy microprocessor interfacing with arranged inputs and outputs.
· 3-state outputs facilitate bus interfacing.
· Common output enable control and TTL input/output switching levels.
· Capable of interfacing with 5 V systems, with bus hold data inputs eliminating the need for external pull-up resistors.
· Supports live insertion/extraction, power-up reset, and 3-state functionality.
· Includes latch-up protection exceeding 500 mA and ESD protection exceeding 2000 V (HBM) and 200 V (MM).
· Operational temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.



APPLICATIONS

· Ideal for use in 3-state bus systems, MOS memories, and MOS microprocessors.
· Suitable for environments requiring robust ESD and latch-up protection.
· Effective in systems needing power-up reset and 3-state capabilities without bus current loading when output is tied to a 5 V bus.
