DESCRIPTION

· The AD9834 is a 75 MHz low power DDS device capable of producing high performance sine and triangular outputs.

· It includes an on-board comparator for square wave generation, ideal for clock generation.

· Consumes only 20 mW of power at 3 V, suitable for power-sensitive applications.

· Features 28-bit frequency registers, enabling fine frequency resolution down to 0.28 Hz with a 75 MHz clock rate.

· Supports phase and frequency modulation through a 3-wire SPI interface.

· Operates with a power supply from 2.3 V to 5.5 V, with independent analog and digital power supplies.

· Includes a power-down pin (SLEEP) for external control to minimize current consumption.
