DESCRIPTION

· The ADM1031 is an ACPI-compliant, three-channel digital thermometer and under/overtemperature alarm designed for personal computers and thermal management systems.

· Optimized for Pentium III, it offers 1°C higher accuracy, enabling system designers to reduce temperature guard-banding and enhance system performance.

· It features two PWM fan control outputs for smooth fan speed control and TACH inputs for fan speed monitoring.

· The device includes remote temperature-sensing diodes, an on-chip temperature sensor, and programmable outputs for error indication and fan failure signaling.
