DESCRIPTION
· The ADuC841/ADuC842/ADuC843 are smart transducer front ends integrating a high-performance self-calibrating multichannel ADC, dual DAC, and a 20 MHz 8-bit MCU (8051 instruction set compatible) on a single chip.
· ADuC841 and ADuC842 differ in clock oscillator circuits; ADuC841 uses an external crystal up to 20 MHz, while ADuC842 uses a 32 kHz crystal with an on-chip PLL.
· ADuC843 is similar to ADuC842 but lacks analog DAC outputs.
· The microcontroller is an optimized 8052 core offering up to 20 MIPS peak performance.
· Memory options include up to 62 kBytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE program memory, 4 kBytes of nonvolatile Flash/EE data memory, 256 bytes RAM, and 2 kBytes of extended RAM.

· DMA controller, high-speed ADC-to-RAM capture, and two 12-bit voltage output DACs.
· Dual output PWM Σ-∆ DACs and on-chip temperature monitor function.
· 8052 based core with 8051 compatible instruction set (20 MHz max).
· High-performance single-cycle core with 32 kHz external crystal and on-chip programmable PLL.
· 12 interrupt sources, 2 priority levels, dual data pointers, and extended 11-bit stack pointer.
· On-chip peripherals include time interval counter, UART, I2C, SPI serial I/O, watchdog timer, and power supply monitor.
· Power supply: 4.5 mA @ 3 V (core CLK = 2.098 MHz) in normal mode, 10 µA @ 3 V in power-down mode.
