Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The APX803S is a 3-pin microprocessor reset circuit designed for monitoring power supplies in µP and digital systems.
· It ensures circuit reliability and reduces cost by eliminating external components and adjustments for 5.0V, 3.3V, 3.0V, and 2.5V powered circuits.
· It asserts a reset signal during power-up and when VCC drops below a preset threshold, maintaining the reset for a fixed period after VCC rises above the threshold.
· The reset comparator ignores fast transients on VCC, and outputs remain valid down to 1V.
· Available in two SOT23 package variants with open-drain active low RESET output.

· Fully specified over temperature.
· Open-drain RESET active low.
· Power-on/power supply glitch reset pulse: 1.7ms (Typ.), 50ms (Typ.), 240ms (Typ.).
· 10µA supply current (Typ.).
· Guaranteed reset valid to VCC = 1V.
· Lead-free, RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and antimony-free "Green" device.
