DESCRIPTION
· The AS1339 is a high-frequency step-down converter optimized for dynamically powering the power amplifier (PA) in WCDMA or NCDMA handsets.
· It integrates two 10mA low-noise, low-dropout regulators (LDOs) for PA biasing.
· The device supports a switching frequency of 2MHz, allowing for small solution size or high efficiency.
· It uses an analog input driven by an external DAC for linear output voltage control, with a gain of 2.5V/V from REFIN to OUT.
· At high-duty cycle, it switches to a bypass mode, connecting input to output through a low-impedance MOSFET.
· The AS1339 is available in a 16-pin WLP (2x2mm) package.
