DESCRIPTION

· The BD4911FM is a multifunction system power supply IC designed for automotive electronics, featuring microcontroller output and super-low dark current operation.

· It includes a built-in reset with microcontroller delay, BATTERY/ACCESSORY voltage detection, mute function, and Watchdog Timer (WDT), making it suitable for car audio and satellite navigation systems.

FEATURES

· Main regulator Vo1 can switch between 5.0V and 3.3V outputs using SEL input and supports an external boost transistor; sub-regulator Vo2 provides 3.3V output, both with 150mA current capacity.

· Includes WDT reset with CTW capacitor for time setting and INH input for operation control.

· Standby operation current: 100 µA (TYP).

· Features reduced and elevated output detection circuits for Vo1, and monitors BuM and ACCM voltages.

· Contains mute circuit with CE capacitor for pulse width setting, power-on reset function with CTP capacitor, and various protection circuits including overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown.

· Packaged in a 28-pin HSOP-M28 for space efficiency.
