DESCRIPTION

· The DRV5033 is a chopper-stabilized Hall Effect Sensor with superior sensitivity stability over temperature and integrated protection features.

· It responds to both polarities of magnetic field direction.

· The open-drain output goes low when the applied magnetic flux density exceeds the BOP threshold and stays low until the field decreases below BRP.

· It operates over a wide voltage range from 2.5 to 38V with reverse polarity protection up to -22V.

· Internal protection functions include reverse supply conditions, load dump, and output short circuit or over current.

FEATURES

· Digital Omnipolar-Switch Hall Sensor with superior temperature stability (BOP ±10% over temperature).

· Multiple sensitivity options: ±3.5/±2mT (FA) and ±6.9/±3.5mT (AJ).

· Detects both North and South magnetic fields.

· Wide operating voltage range (2.5 to 38V) without the need for an external regulator.

· Wide operating temperature range (TA = -40 to 125°C).

· Open Drain Output with 30-mA sink capability.

· Fast 35-µs power-on time.
