DESCRIPTION

· The EAALSDIC2020A0 is a digital-output light sensor with a two-wire I2C serial interface, compatible with SMBus at 100kHz. It integrates a photodiode and an ADC on a single CMOS IC for light measurements with a 15-bit dynamic range. It offers two operation modes: constant ADC refresh and one-time integration, with the latter requiring no external resistor. Its integrating conversion technique reduces flicker effects from AC-powered lamps, enhancing measurement stability. The sensor's wavelength response is close to the human eye and has low sensitivity to non-visible light like infrared and ultraviolet.
