DESCRIPTION

· The HEF4051B is a single-pole octal-throw analog switch (SP8T) designed for 8:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer applications.

· It includes three digital select inputs (S1, S2, S3), eight independent inputs/outputs (Yn), a common input/output (Z), and a digital enable input (E).

· The switch is turned off when E is HIGH and features clamp diodes for interfacing inputs to voltages exceeding VCC.
