Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The ispPAC-POWR607 is a versatile power-supply monitor, reset generator, and watchdog timer, integrating in-system programmable logic and analog functions using non-volatile E2CMOS® technology.
· It features six independent analog input channels for power supply voltage monitoring and two general-purpose digital inputs for additional control functions.
· The device offers up to seven open-drain digital outputs for controlling DC-DC converters, LDOs, opto-couplers, and for supervisory and general-purpose logic interface functions.
· Two outputs can be configured as high-voltage MOSFET drivers, providing 9V for driving n-channel MOSFETs in high-side power switch configurations.



FEATURES

· Power-Down Mode with ICC < 10 µA.
· Programmable Threshold Monitors capable of simultaneously monitoring up to six power supplies with programmable analog trip points and glitch filters.
· Embedded Programmable Timers with four independent timers offering intervals from 32 µs to 2 seconds.
· Embedded PLD for Logical Control featuring a 16-macrocell CPLD architecture with 81 product terms and 28 inputs.
· Digital I/O with two dedicated digital inputs and five programmable digital I/O pins.
· Two High-Voltage FET Drivers for power supply ramp up/down control, configurable for FET control or digital output.
· Wide Supply Range from 2.64 V to 3.96 V, in-system programmable through JTAG, and available in 24-pin and 32-pin QFNS packages with a lead-free option.



APPLICATIONS

· Controls power to microprocessor systems, generates CPU reset, and monitors critical power supply voltages, issuing interrupts upon fault detection.
· Provides a watchdog timer function to detect CPU operating and bus timeout errors.
· Utilizes a 16-macrocell CPLD for processing inputs from analog comparators and digital inputs, driving external control signals via digital output pins.
