DESCRIPTION

· The ADM1166 Super Sequencer® is a configurable supervisory/sequencing device designed for supply monitoring and sequencing in multiple-supply systems.

· It integrates a 12-bit ADC and six 8-bit voltage output DACs for implementing a closed-loop margining system.

· This system allows supply adjustment by altering the feedback node or reference of a dc-to-dc converter using the DAC outputs.

· The device supports in-circuit testing and dynamic control of dc-to-dc converter output voltages.

· 10 supply fault detectors with <0.5% accuracy at 25°C and <1.0% accuracy across all voltages and temperatures.

· Power-up and power-down sequence control, fault event handling, and interrupt generation on warnings.

· Complete voltage-margining solution for 6 voltage rails with 8-bit DACs and 12-bit ADC for readback.

· Industry-standard 2-wire bus interface (SMBus) and 256 bytes of user EEPROM.

· Available in 40-lead, 6 mm × 6 mm LFCSP and 48-lead, 7 mm × 7 mm TQFP packages.
