DESCRIPTION

· M21204/M21214 are high-speed, low-power, adaptive co-axial cable equalizers.
· Designed to increase the maximum low-jitter transmission distance of SDI video signals and DVB-ASI across 75 Ω coaxial cable.
· Automatically optimize transfer function based on bit rate and cable length to minimize ISI jitter and remove DC offset components.
· M21214 supports SD and HD data rates from 143 Mbps to 1485 Mbps.
· M21204 supports SD data rates between 143 Mbps and 540 Mbps.
· Low-noise, high-gain equalizer allows for low jitter HD transmissions up to 200m (Belden 1694A) and 120m (Belden 8281).
· For SD data rates, cable lengths up to 400m (Belden 1694A) and 300m (Belden 8281) are supported.
· M21214 is a pin-for-pin compatible drop-in replacement for GS1524.
· M21204 is a pin-for-pin compatible drop-in replacement for GS9064.
· Offers lower power dissipation, 2.5V or 3.3V power supply, and increased typical input return loss of 25 dB.
