DESCRIPTION

· The MAX14870/MAX14872 are compact, low-power motor drivers for brushed DC motors and relays, operating from 4.5V to 36V.

· They feature low on-resistance, charge-pump-less design, and integrated fast-decay current regulation.

· These drivers include shoot-through protection, internal free-wheeling diodes, and short-circuit protection.

· Available in a 12-pin TDFN-EP package, they operate from -40°C to +85°C.

· Small 3mm x 3mm TDFN-EP package handles up to 2.5A peak motor current.

· Low power consumption with 280mW total bridge on-resistance and 1mA supply current at 30kHz/24V.
