DESCRIPTION

· The MAX5969A/MAX5969B are IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant Powered Device Interface Controllers with integrated power MOSFETs, designed for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) systems. They provide detection and classification signatures, inrush current control, and an integrated isolation power switch. These devices support a smooth transition from PoE to wall adapter power, feature a power-good signal, and include protections such as overtemperature and current limit foldback. They are available in a compact 10-pin TDFN package and operate over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
